We are pleased to share the latest Bi-Annual Service Highlights Report for the CCUC, highlighting student outcomes, community engagement and Centre activity from November 2025 to April 2026.
The CCUC continues to support local people to access higher education close to home, with over 184 students enrolled across 42 universities, TAFEs and training providers, studying a diverse range of qualifications.
One story featured recently in the Observer and in this report is that of Caitlin and her mother Mellissa, who are both pursuing higher education while balancing family, work and community commitments. Caitlin reflects: “No matter your circumstances, it is possible to study and build the life you want. There is support out there, you just have to take that first step.”
The report also shares examples of students supporting one another, local scholarship partnerships, school engagement activities, graduate achievements, and the growing impact of higher education opportunities across the Cassowary Coast.
